Last night the teachers from Stebbins and St. Michael met up to have a bonding time on the island. We went out to North Beach and had a hot dog roast and a bon fire. The teachers from St. Michael came by Honda and some came in the Subarban for the school. Once you got to the beach, it was like a Honda parking lot. We sang songs, ate food and had some good conversation.

This morning, I noticed another barge here. There have been quite a lot of barges in this season for various reasons. The gas barge was in earlier, so I am not sure what this one was in for.

On Fridsay, Robin had gone to St. Michael and called back to let us know that all 3 herds of reindeer were on the road between Stebbins and St. Michael airport. Several of us went for a ride to get and up close look at them. Although they weren't right on the road, it was neat to see all of the herds. There were hundreds of them!!!!!

Volleyball practice started Monday. We have some unique drills to promote working together. Here is one we call circle toss. It looks pretty cool. Every player has a ball and we have to work together to pass them to the next person without anyone getting hit in the head with a volleyball. Our team looks pretty good so far this year and we should do pretty good.
